Invitation to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Annual Review 2016-2017
Monday, 2nd October 2017 at 2.00pm in the Teaching and Learning Centre at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Campus

On behalf of Shona Robison MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, and the Board of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, I am delighted to invite you to attend our forthcoming Annual Review.

The Review will be held on Monday, 2nd October 2017, at 2.00pm in the Lecture Theatre at the Teaching and Learning Centre, on the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Campus (tea and coffee will be served from 1.15 pm).

The purpose of the event is for Boards to be held accountable for their performance in delivering key Local Delivery Plan Standards throughout 2016/17. There will also be a focus on the progress the Board has and continues to make in delivering the Scottish Government's National 2020 Vision through progress towards delivering the three Quality Ambitions of Person Centred, Safe and Effective Healthcare, alongside a range of other commitments.

The event will start with the Minister briefly setting the scene before handing over to myself to deliver a brief presentation highlighting some of our major achievements and challenges during 2016-17. The final hour of the event will be given over to questions from the audience.

If you would like to attend the Annual Review, please register by:

NO LATER than Wednesday 27th September 2017. Please note that, due to limited capacity at the venue, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation containing full directions to the venue will be sent to all those who register.

I do hope that you will be able to attend on Monday 2nd October 2017 and look forward to seeing you at the Teaching and Learning Centre.

Yours sincerely,
JOHN BROWN, CBE
Chairman
