Information and guidance for public, NHSGGC staff, and community-based services.  Hospital visiting restrictions now in place.

COVID-19 Vaccination Peer Education sessions

Held over Microsoft teams, these sessions aims to provide staff and volunteers working directly with communities and individuals with an opportunity to gain more knowledge about the NHSGGC COVID-19 vaccination programme.

There will also be chance to ask COVID-19 vaccine related questions.

Topics covered include:

  • Why vaccinate?
  • COVID-19 vaccine development process
  • Facts about the vaccine – addressing myths and concerns
  • Vaccine safety
  • Common side effects
  • When and where COVID-19 vaccinations are provided in NHSGGC
  • Where to access up-to-date COVID-19 vaccine information

All sessions take place from 12.00pm until 1.30pm.

Once registered, participants will receive an email with a link to access the MS Teams Meeting. Please note that places are limited to 20 participants.
